I'm going to let you in on a little (BIG) secret: Are hard work, productivity, and "getting things done" important? Absolutely. But as an entrepreneur, what's even more important is taking steps to raise your vibration.
That's right, I'm telling you to:
Stop all the working pushing, driving, force. Simply stop.
The number one thing you need to do as an entrepreneur before you take another step is:
Raise your vibration? What do I mean by that? And what does raising your vibration have to do with being an entrepreneur? Or your bottom line?
Well, in his book A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle teaches how your business and what you're creating can only be as great as the energy you held when you were creating it.
Translation: Your business is a direct consequence of the energy you hold.
To further translate: Your business will be a direct result of the feeling, thoughts, and ultimately, the vibration you hold.
So, if you are pushing and forcing from a place of frustration, anger, anxiety, and "get it doneness," your business (your art) WILL reflect this.
Before we get into how you can raise your vibration, let's talk about what your vibration means in the first place.
Maybe the concept of vibration and energetic shifts is totally new to you. (This is exciting!)
A straightforward way to think of your vibration is your energetic quality.
We've probably all felt good or bad "vibes" from people, places, or things before. All of these vibes relate to how that person/place/thing's vibration interacts with our own vibrational energy.
And the more you vibrate – the higher this vibration is – the better!
Take it from Abraham-Hicks:
“As you think, you vibrate. As you vibrate, you attract.”
So, if you want to attract as an entrepreneur, whether it's clients, success, money, peace, time, you need to raise your vibration before doing anything else.
The good news is, it's a lot easier to do this than you might expect!
So, now you know you need to raise your vibration to be a successful entrepreneur. But how exactly do you do that?
Before you sit down at your desk, open your computer, pick up your pen….pause.
Take even five minutes to improve your energy and raise your vibration. The most effective way to do this can be different for everyone.
Here are a few of my favorite ways to change your state:
Whether it's looking around you and listing five things you're grateful for (a big cup of tea, comfy slippers, beautiful flowers from a friend...) or looking inward (your ability to laugh at yourself, the way your heart swells when you hug your children...) practice gratitude whenever you can.
(To make these lists even more powerful, write them down on paper rather than listing them in your head!)
Not only can this effectively raise your vibration, but gratitude also has an incredible way of positively affecting both your body and mind..
Meditation is considered the most effective tool for raising your vibration and increasing positive energy by many. Your thoughts and beliefs send out energy. If you can focus on making these thoughts and beliefs positive during your meditation, you're actively sending out positive energy. Then, you're more likely to receive those "good vibes" back!

Starting a meditation practice might feel overwhelming at first. The trick is starting slow and finding a technique that works for you to create a routine you'll stick to. Here are some basic meditation techniques to get you started.
You probably already know just how good a reeeeally deep breath can feel. Now, what if you turn breathing into an active practice meant to raise your vibration and improve your well-being? That's exactly what implementing breathwork into your routine can do.
For most of the day, your breathing is a passive, subconscious practice. We just do it.
But when we focus on breathing in a conscious, systemic way, you can not only increase your vibration, but improve your emotional state and either energize or relax, depending on your goals. (PS. And of course, I have to mention handstands! This change in physical state has a powerful impact on the mental state. If handstands aren't in the cards for you, something as simple as a few moments of deep stretching can do the trick.
No matter what you do to raise your vibration, consciously focus your energy on doing so and you'll be amazed at what can happen.
